Saudi Arabia covers most of the Arabian Peninsula with coasts on both the Red Sea and Persian Gulf. The country is entirely composed of dry desert terrain. The country has an absolute monarchy whose system is based on the strict Wahhabism Sunni Islam. OIl was discovered in 1932 and provides the country with is economic and political power.
