The phenomenon, which occurs during late summer, is caused by bioluminescent phytoplankton that makes the sea look like it is full of glittering stars. Mykonos Offers Relaxation and Exhilaration
The island of Mykonos is situated in the southern part of the Aegean Sea and forms part of the Cyclades Complex. Make sure you visit at least a handful of romantic beaches on the island including Super Paradise, Panormos, and Agia Anna.
